A leading hi-tech media company was struggling with operational inefficiencies in its sales and billing processes. While they had implemented Salesforce Sales Cloud to manage leads and opportunities, their quoting and invoicing processes were entirely manual, relying on Excel and Google Sheets. This caused delays, inaccuracies in product configurations and pricing, and frequent errors in approvals. The approval workflows were slow, relying on emails and phone calls, while the lack of integration between their ERP and Salesforce further disrupted order processing and invoicing. The client needed a scalable solution to streamline their sales cycle, reduce errors, and improve overall productivity. 

The Solution: Striking the Perfect Chord

Our team at Datafy implemented a customized Salesforce CPQ & Billing solution that is fully integrated with the client’s ERP system. Through extensive workshops with their sales and finance teams, we identified pain points and mapped out optimized workflows. 

A Proof of Concept (POC) was created to demonstrate automation of quoting, approval workflows, and invoicing using Salesforce CPQ. We facilitated seamless data migration from Google Sheets to Salesforce, ensuring centralized and accurate product and pricing information. To guarantee high user adoption, we developed a phased go-live strategy accompanied by in-depth user training sessions. 

Key features included automated quoting, real-time pricing integration, and automated invoicing, all synchronized with the ERP system for a streamlined lead-to-revenue process.
